Malls

Will work for plushies - We developed the design, fabricated and installed these kiosks, each located in the common areas of shopping malls in the Seattle area.
    Poké Doké
The vending kiosks sell Pokémon branded merchandise, including plush and collectible figures, trading cards, and Nintendo DS games.

Ahoy there - Based on Portugal’s history of maritime exploration, we designed and fabricated this “Old World” sculpture featuring a stylized depiction of weathered sails and wind currents.
    Fathom that
The steel-framed sculpture is 35’ long and hangs roughly 30’ in the air of a mall atrium.

Iberian Artistry - This is one of three original artworks we created to hang in the atrium of Centro Colombo Mall in Lisbon, Portugal. These stylized parrots were fabricated from steel and finished with a metallic paint.
    Big Budgies
At around 12’ long each, you could say these parrots fly in the face of convention!

Q: What's 2 meters long & 5 meters high? - These huge flowers suspended above the entrance of  a mall in Lisbon, were fabricated with vacu-formed petals and fabric leaves stretched over an aluminum frame.
A: The Jolly Green Giant’s Thumb
The flowers are nearly 2 meters long and have internally illuminated stamens. The translucent butterfly contains color-changing LED lights to add to the effect.

Cove Bar - We fabricated translucent fiberglass torches, column surrounds, knee walls and tons of steel "bamboo" for the Cove Bar. Our custom-built light fixtures create a specific mood and still include a U.L. label.
Get me a Mai Tai, Dano
You'd never guess this food court was formerly a parking garage.

Iconic - Dillon Works fabricated numerous interior and exterior three-dimensional icons for an outdoor lifestyle center in Virginia.
    Center of attention
Each custom icon, created with foam, fiberglass, epoxy, and PVC, depicts a historic Virginian, such as Edgar Allen Poe, Ella Fitzgerald, and this Native American, Powhatan.

Let it glow! - This 6-foot tall lantern was one of numerous outdoor light fixtures we made for the Stony Point Fashion Park in Richmond, Virginia. These fixtures are made with powder-coated metal frames and stained glass.
    Lighten up!
Each lantern was built entirely in our shop, giving us control over the whole process.

Flapping Cabanas - In the "Playa" area, the storefronts had a Cabana theme. While we didn't make the wood portion of the storefronts, we did fabricate nearly 60 "flapping sheets".
Get the sand out of your beach towel
These elements were made of translucent fiberglass so they would "glow". Oh, and we installed them too.

Без Перевода = Sadko - Sadko is one of four large sculptures based on Russian folk tales we created for IKEA’s MEGA Khimki shopping center in Moscow, Russia.
    Don’t worry, be happy
Each sculpture broke down to fit in overseas shipping containers. Building them was the easy part; getting them into the country was another story.

Environmental Graphic – Standing high above each entrance to the Fiesta Mall is a stylized flower created in our shop.
You won't forget which entrance you came in!
We explored a number of concept possibilities before the client decided they liked this one best.

Da-da! - We provided design development, fabrication, and installation for these 3D icons of Russian folklore for the MEGA Khimki shopping center in Moscow, Russia.
    Yes, Russia, not Idaho.
In the “Educated Cat” Courtyard, parents can relax as children gather around the 10-foot tall cat and storyteller chair under the 30-foot “Tree of Knowledge”.

A veritable cornucopia of food options - These food court soffit features add visual interest to the ceiling and shade the diners from the sunlight streaming in the skylights.
    Stylin’ smorgasbord
Atmosphere and lighting are a critical aspect of environment design. Those perky girls in the trendy outfits behind the Hot Dog on a Stick counter need to look their absolute best!
